CARE
INSTRUCTIONS:
Your customized wand comes in a satin lined box. Research has
told us that keeping your wand in the box helps the wand retain
its magical potency when not in use. The satin cradle also helps
preserve the wand. A regular routine of cleaning and/or polishing
the wand is recommended. All you need is a small piece of soft
cloth (chamois is the best - as little as a 6” x 6”
piece works.) Put a few drops of lemon oil on the cloth (any oil
used to polish wood or you can make some with baby oil-just add
a tablespoon or two of some “strained” lemon juice.)
Gently rub the wand in a “forward” motion (starting
at the base then follow the wand to the tip). Polishing in a forward
manner “frees” the magic to perform as directed. We
will offer a Wand Servicing Kit in the near future to care for
your wand.
WARNING:
Be careful not store your wand in your coat or back pocket. Wands
and magic are tricky things and we have heard of accidents involving
one’s backside. These wands are NOT to
be used as weapons, to scare anyone, or any evil purpose.
Our High Priestess has ensured “magical” safety by
performing a special Protection Spell. The witches and wizards
of Hocus Pocus Magic Wands are members of the Witches’ Order
for Magical Protection (or WOMP). Children are obviously our main
concern. We devote our lives to the “betterment” of
humankind with only GOOD works and magic. So BEWARE the warlocks
of the world. We have one of the strongest protection spell protecting
the integrity of the wands.
PLEASE do not point or put your wand directly into someone’s
face as it is rude and potentially dangerous. PLEASE, remember,
this is ALL just for FUN. And Yes . . . FUN is a good AND necessary
part of Life.
HOW TO USE YOUR MAGIC WAND:
The only guidance we can impart to the new witch or wizard is
to pay attention to Professor Flitwick (from JK Rowling’s
Harry Potter series) when he instructed the class to “Swish
and Flick!” |
